Life Member 286 Joseph King

KING, SGM Joseph H. "Joe", (US Army-Retired), 48, of Dover, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015. He was a U.S. Army veteran of 26 years, was the recipient of the Bronze Star and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Denise King; son, Christopher King; parents, Gibby King, Jr. and Betty King, both of Beverly Hills, FL; brothers, Richard Allen King and Mark Andrew King and sisters, Mary King Peake and Connie Stidham.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, FL 33578, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment, with full military honors, will follow at 12:30 P.M. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, for the children.
